When people start coming too close to you, place the Light between you and them, and let the Light take the karma. The Light can handle it. - John-Roger (From: Fulfilling Your Spiritual Promise, p. 870) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

God's will for you - for each of us - is to know God, and everything is set up to support that. So you can see all your experiences as opportunities to take one more step towards God. And the way to know God is to love as Jesus loved: unconditionally, through all things. - John-Roger (From: "Your Destiny and God's Will for You", on the New Day Herald website at www.ndh.org/template.php3?ID=848

In this lifetime, there are treasures awaiting your discovery. You may sometimes be unwilling to put in the effort to uncover the treasures, thinking that you can wait for later because it takes too much effort to claim them. It might help if you realized that you are in your "laters" now. Why put off discovering the treasures that are within you? You don't have to be a victim of time. You can get going right now and use time as an ally instead of an obstacle. - John-Roger (From: Wealth & Higher Consciousness, p. 67-68)

The Traveler teaches longevity to clear as much karma as possible. And if you live every day of your life in the most efficient, dynamic, and uplifting way possible, then when it comes time to leave this field of reality for the greater spiritual reality, it can be completed with grace and ease. It will be a joyful completion, graduation, and new beginning. - John-Roger (From: Living Love from the Spiritual Heart, p. 21)

Some people have a hard time receiving. It often takes a great deal of smoothness and tact to receive gifts from people without embarrassing them or putting them on the spot. Years ago when people gave me things, I would say, "No, thank you." I thought I was being "spiritual" by refusing to take anything from them and just giving my joy and my love. But when I tried to give them love, there was no place for them to receive it because they felt rejected. They were experiencing a form of resentment because I hadn't let them give to me. They felt almost like they weren't worthy enough to give to me. That had never been part of my consciousness, but that was the way it was perceived. By refusing their gifts, I shut off the flow, and they could not receive what I had to give. Now I accept every present. I receive with an open heart. The flow is there, and not only is it easy for me to give love back to them, but it's also easy for them to receive my love because they feel good about the whole action. It's balanced. Then it becomes a deeper experience than just giving and receiving. It becomes a sharing, a form of intimacy, which is an expression of loving oneness. - John-Roger (From: The Way Out Book, p. 71-72)

The energy of the Soul can often be felt as a sense of well-being, contentment, joy, and peace. It's not inactivity, but is directed action and aliveness. You are experiencing the energy of your Soul when you communicate to and from that place that is good-natured and free of irritation. - John-Roger (From: Relationships: Love, Marriage and Spirit, p. 119)

Many people create and send out thought forms that can drain your energy; often they are not even aware they are doing this, although they may be. If this happens as a pattern with a certain person, be double-sure to take the time to surround yourself with the Light and to use the other protection techniques before you even start a conversation with them. Surround yourself first, before you send the Light to anyone else; if you don't, their energy, thoughts, or feelings can come right back to you on that stream of Light you sent out, and you're likely to feel it. And if you do feel the drain on your energy, do spiritual exercises to help you rebuild the energy, strength, and vitality within your own consciousness. - John-Roger (From: Fulfilling Your Spiritual Promise, p. 869, 871)

People will see somebody and they'll say, "I love that person. I don't know why, but I love them." They see something there that no one else can see. You say, "What can you see in that person? They're ugly." They say, "Oh you're looking at the physical. I've never seen the physical." They're not the handsomest one physically, but there's some beauty there. They sometimes explain it by saying, "They're tender," or, "They care." There's something that's relating to this person in the Light, and the Light of this person's consciousness pulls them into a balance. So when you're with someone you love, you might just question yourself: Do I love you because I love you, or do I love you because of the way you love me? - John-Roger (From: "Loving Right Now," on the NDH website at www.ndh.org/template.php3?ID=763)Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

While here, love what's here. Have no issue. Choose unconditional love. Make no demands. Love anyway. Love if you do. Love if you don't. Love when it's dark. Love when it's light. Just love. - John Morton "Q&A Event Worldwide on the Internet" with John Morton - Wednesday June 6th, 6:30 p.m. pacific daylight time at www.msia.org/liveWatch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

If you do let the past be past, then you have the present to deal with, unless, of course, you're hooked on desire and anxiety about the future. There is something you can do about your future, however. By focusing on your present, you can assist your future. By doing those things, now, that support your eventual success, your future will reflect that. - John-Roger (From: Wealth & Higher Consciousness, p. 149) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

If you're ever wondering, "Well, what do I do now?" the answer is always, "How do I love? How do I love what is here? How do I love this?" If you're taken to where you place judgment and where you hold negativity, that is what you're called upon to love. If you don't know how to love in that way, call upon God within you to show you, to reveal love to you. You have that power to ask for God's presence to go through you, from you to this. How do we do that? We stay open. We turn our eyes to the presence of the Lord, the One who is that Light and is the Way. - John Morton "The Power Within You" Part 2 class with John Morton on the Internet – Saturday July 14th, 1:00 p.m. pacific daylight time at www.msia.org/live The only way I would change this remark is to add the femine part of God to it somehow, since that is what I pray to every day.

When you do your spiritual exercises, you practice going in and out of the body. You practice traversing the spiritual realms beyond the physical level. Death is nothing more than transiting from this level to another level, and you can become quite adept at that. Sometimes you do it unconsciously, and other times you do it with some degree of conscious awareness. There is value in learning to travel consciously because it gives you a sense of confidence and reduces fear. When the time comes for your physical death, it will be just one more lifting out of your body, except that you won't be coming back. When you place the name of God in every situation and every moment, then in the moment death overtakes you, you'll remember the name of the Lord as a matter of habit, and you won't be caught in death's throes. Or at the moment of death, if the Lord calls your spiritual name, you'll be so attuned to listening inwardly that you'll hear it, respond, and move immediately into God. You'll defeat death and rise into greater life. Either way, you'll demonstrate the ability to go immediately into the line of transcendental energy that overcomes death. - John-Roger (From: Living Love from the Spiritual Heart, p. 19-20) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

Some of us have been to this realm in consciousness many, many times. We are the elders who have made a lot of mistakes through many lifetimes. With those errors has come some greater awarenesses, some wisdom. And yet, the paradox is that the Soul does not necessarily evolve; it just adds to itself the pure essence of what comes to it. - John-Roger (From: The Way Out Book, p. 223) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php
