I was talking with some of the people around me who I work with closely and they said, "I didn't want to feel like I was doing an ego trip." And I said, "What's wrong with an ego trip?" They looked a little perplexed, as though we're not supposed to do ego trips. That's the biggest bunch of nonsense you'll ever hear. Everybody's doing an ego trip. If you weren't, you wouldn't be on this planet. You have to have enough ego to maintain yourself here or you're shot down. It's a defense mechanism. You just tell me in your mind which you think is the greatest: the person that does an ego trip and lifts people around him or the one that does the humility trip and blocks everybody. Which is the greatest one? Humility is not a virtue unless it becomes virtuous by its nature. Neither is a big ego virtuous except by its nature. Neither is anything, except by its nature. If we have a low ego and it blocks us, and we have a large ego and it blocks us, what is the difference? It's a block. And if we use it to free us, then what is the difference? We are free. Freedom here and now -- this is the spiritual promise. This is spiritual liberation. - John-Roger (From: "John-Roger on the Spiritual Promise," on the New Day Herald website at www.ndh.org/template.php3?ID=924)Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

Your life is a gift. In each day, find your gratitude. Right where you are, find your gratitude. Finding gratitude is going to open you up so whatever would serve you will come to you, whether it's a cure, a spontaneous healing or anything else you need. Goodness is what you deserve. It is your heritage. - John Morton Open MSIA Seminar with John Morton webcast live worldwide - Tuesday October 16th, 6:30 p.m. pacific daylight time at www.msia.org/liveWatch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

The Light may seem a little intangible to you for a time. Even if you are unable to see it, however, you may be able to see what it can do in your life, how it can change and lift. Even when you are not aware of it, it's lifting you. In fact, it's the energy that sustains you. - John-Roger (From: Wealth & Higher Consciousness, p. 93) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

The parts of you that you resist most often are based on fear. If we wanted to boil down the negative power, we could just call it fear or the denial of the truth. And why do we deny the truth? Usually because we're afraid. For example, why do we lie? Often it's because we were afraid that if we revealed the truth, something terrible would happen. The one who runs that show is the one who is the liar, the one who denies the truth. The one who is the truth realizes that the truth is everywhere and it's uninhibited, unstoppable, so it sets you free. - John Morton (From: "The Choice to Love", on the NDH website at www.newdayherald.org/template.php3?ID=480)Open MSIA Seminar with John Morton webcast live worldwide - Tuesday October 16th, 6:30 p.m. pacific daylight time at www.msia.org/liveWatch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php

Don't be afraid to look at yourself. If something's wrong, find out now. Even if you've spent thirty years expressing a particular way, if it's wrong, it's wrong. Drop it. If you're smart, you'll let it go so fast everybody will wonder what happened. - John-Roger (From: The Way Out Book, p. 187-188) Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.phpYou can send this quote as an email postcard: www.lovingeachday.org/cardview.php3?id=3240

You can't promise ten thousand years, and you can't promise tomorrow. But you can live right now, and that's all there is. The spiritual promise does not deal with this plane, and so therefore it is a promise, and that promise will be kept. - John-Roger (From: "John-Roger on the Spiritual Promise," on the NDH website at www.ndh.org/template.php3?ID=924)Watch today's Moment of Peace with John-Roger, John Morton: www.lovingeachday.org/mop.php
