Through my journeys, I have discovered that our Souls are sparks of the divine - God individualized. Our Souls are our connection to God and to Spirit. When we rise high enough, all our Souls are of the same essence, and so we are all connected. We are all one. We are all of divine Spirit. - John-Roger with Pauli Sanderson (From: When Are You Coming Home? A Personal Guide to Soul Transcendence, p. 19)

The Soul is on a path of evolvement. It is seeking to return to its source, to the realm of Spirit and God. It will use all experiences to further its progress along the path. There is no experience that is useless or does not have value because, in the end, all is for the Soul's experience. - John-Roger with Pauli Sanderson (From: When Are You Coming Home? A Personal Guide to Soul Transcendence, p. 166-167)

Charity reflects the loving that is the very essence behind all creation. There is nowhere that it is not. - John-Roger (From: The Way Out Book, p. 74)

Your ultimate destiny is to be consciously aware on all levels at all times and to know your own divinity. When you do this, you also know the divinity in all things and realize that it is all one. Then, what you do in your life is up to you to decide. You can do any number of things and still fulfill your destiny of knowing God; in other words, what you do here has little if anything to do with Soul Transcendence. - John-Roger (From: "Your Destiny and God's Will for You", on the New Day Herald website at www.ndh.org/template.php3?ID=848)

All love is within you. It's part of infinite supply; in fact, it is the infinite supply. It's important for you to keep calling forward the essence of spiritual love every day so you keep lifting higher. Let nothing stop you from this endeavor, for it is more important than any other activity.

Don't expect other people to make you happy; make your own happiness. Then you'll be shining forth the spiritual love.

Scriptures of all different religious groups tell us that as we think in our heart, thus we become. Thinking in our heart is connecting an emotional, loving quality to the content of the mind. Otherwise, thinking can be limited to an intellectual experience. Intellect without caring can be cold and sterile, not exactly an abundant experience. Conversely, if we have only emotions, we may not be accessing our wisdom. Thinking in our heart includes the ability to see into what is present and to put it together in a chain of thoughts that we can move on physically as we share with other people. - John-Roger (From: Wealth & Higher Consciousness, p. 67)

One attitude you can take when you have caused yourself pain and discomfort through your actions is one of quietness and serenity. That attitude can sustain you through almost anything. Focus on the moment without looking ahead to next week or next month or next year. Just hold yourself present in the now - at each point - and deal with whatever presents itself to you in the moment. Usually life is not too difficult that way. Much suffering seems to occur when you look back into yesterday or forward into tomorrow. This quote seems so true to me. I hope you find it as useful as I have.

Q: How can I experience the Christ in my everyday life? A: The answer is very simple: serve, serve, serve. I should say, serving, serving, serving. To serve means getting up and going and doing what's in front of you to do. I think we find the Christ more readily in that serving than we do in anything else. In the Bible, Christ says, "How do you know that ye are my disciples? That you do love one another" (John 13:35, New International Version). How do we know that you do love one another? Because you help each other, you work with each other, and you support each other. And you just don't judge each other. - John-Roger

saw loving as a key to freedom. I saw that as I could love each and every action, without judgment or concern, I created my path to freedom. I saw that the Soul was masterful at accepting and experiencing whatever was presented. I saw that the Soul exemplifies purest loving because it does not judge any choice and recognizes that there is learning with every choice. - John-Roger with Pauli Sanderson (From: When Are You Coming Home? A Personal Guide to Soul Transcendence, p. 117-118)

Focus on love, the divine love. It can increase circulation, increase oxygen supply, increase vitality. You can feel great. Dis-ease disappears. - John-Roger (From: Loving Each Day, Volume 1, p. 309)

have come to believe that the suffering of humankind lies in its perceived separation from God, the ultimate source of our power, creativity, and life. I believe this separation is a temporary condition and that we have the power to "come home" when we choose, to return to our awareness of the divine, to the knowledge of our Souls and Spirit. I believe this is the message of all great spiritual teachers throughout all time. It is a universal message and remains the same, no matter the time, culture, or tradition. In the Gospel according to Luke, it is written that Jesus taught the parable of the lost son, the prodigal son who realizes the error of his ways and comes home to his father (Luke 15: 20 – 24, New International Version). Though in the parable, the emphasis is on the son who comes home, I think of it as the parable of the "forgiving Father," for it exemplifies the nature of God, which sees the perfection of each Soul no matter what the circumstances, and experiences only love. - John-Roger with Pauli Sanderson (From: When Are You Coming Home? A Personal Guide to Soul Transcendence, p. 19-20)

Regarding heaven and hell, those concepts differ according to various religious or spiritual beliefs. Heaven will take care of itself if you, or anyone else, worship God in prayer, meditation, spiritual exercises, or contemplation - whatever form connects you to the unconditional loving of God. - John-Roger (From: Relationships: Love, Marriage and Spirit), p.194-195)

Expressing sexually is one way the Soul makes love on the physical level. When you are loving your partner from the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels simultaneously, there can be a very beautiful exchange of all energies. You can experience a balancing and a blending that is truly satisfying and fulfilling, not only on the sexual level, but on all other levels of your beingness. - John-Roger (From: The Way Out Book, p. 83)

One of the fundamental human errors is materiality, manifested mostly in terms of concern for the monetary value of things. Greed, by its very nature, strikes against the Spirit inside. Once you come from greed, there is never enough in this world, and there is always a hunger for more. - John-Roger (From: Relationships: Love, Marriage and Spirit, p. 196)
