I was raised in a somewhat Christian religion, and I am very glad that I was. Otherwise it would have been much harder for me to get to know on a personal level the Master Jesus like I have come to know him. I believe that he is the most enlightened being to have ever walked on this Earth. He may also be much more than that, but I don't know for sure what else yet. I'm still learning like all of us are.
I do know one thing that resonates as 100% true to me in my heart: When Jesus died on the cross, he prayed to the Creator to help him to absorb anyone's sorrow, bad karma, and so on, therefore making a very powerful offering to all of us who go to him asking for help and wanting to learn how to have more love and peace in our lives.
I am far more of a Gnostic (Old Way) Christian than I am a modern day one, as I feel many of the truths Jesus taught have been manipulated and twisted through the years for whatever reason by the people who've been in charge of the various Christian sects. There is still a lot of truth taught in these modern religions, but there has been a lot of truth lost that isn't taught as well.
I am always working on being less judgmental and hypocritical and I believe all more enlightened Christians do the same thing. I have had a lot of experiences with the "holier than thou" crowd and the hypocrisy that goes with them. So I tend to stay away from types like that as much as possible.
Unlike other people who I know that are what I call Modern Day Christians, I believe that there is much truth in many other religions and spiritual ways of life. I believe that all paths that are based on Love lead to God. I know there are many who would disagree with me, but who are they to judge what I've learned and what feels true to me? I believe it is only Divine Parent's job to judge my beliefs, etc., and not my Earthly brothers and sisters. So I do my best to not judge others for their truths, and can only hope that the same comes back to me. May you always be blessed and feel loved.
