I have been experimenting with garlic, which has so many different uses in healing that I don't even know all of them. I am taking it every evening with dinner lately because it is an anti-fungal. I have found that it makes all of my mucus membranes have a lot more clear fluid come out of them, and probably because of this fact, it actually cleared up my last sinus infection within a week without antibiotics! That was one of the great effects I found. The other 2 great effects it had upon my body was to release the toxins from the lumps/adhesions and actually get them to shrink down in size a noticeable amount as well; and, it must have made the more clear mucus in my lungs as well, as I was coughing up junk out of them more often, rather than having the usual dry smoker's cough. When I read more up on garlic I will add what I learn here.

I've never heard of wild garlic, but I would think we probably do get it over here. Is that usually better? Sorry it took me so long to respond to your post, Pablo. I didn't see it until today oddly enough. I've put myself on raw garlic 3 times per day now, as my surgical wound is fighting an infection once again, darn it. I have never taken this much before, but I figure that it couldn't hurt for me to do until I finally get back into see my surgeon the last week of Jan. I was hoping to get back up to see him sooner, but doubt they will be able to squeeze me in this upcoming Tuesday. He only sees patients then. Thank heavens the hospital he works at is on the cutting edge of technology and knowledge. I would be quite a bit more worried if that were not the case. The types of infections that I used to get that I used cut up fresh garlic cloves for were bronchitus in my lungs. I've also found as the years have passed that it's a good idea to do a "garlic cleanse" as it actually seems to detox my intestines and colon. I do, however, advise one is taking a good probiotic with at least 3 strains of good-4-you bacteria during and after the cleanse as I suspect the garlic actually kills off a ton of bacteria in ones gut, good and bad equally.

Guess what I found out about the infection I was fighting in my surgical wound on my head when I went into visit my neurologist last spring? It was gangrene! Thank God garlic works as well as it does! That's all I'm going to say. Can you imagine my surprise when they FINALLY informed me of this? No wonder they hospitalized me for 3 nights when they finally did re-check my wound. I sure wish they would've told me then what type of infection I was fighting. Sheesh! Another use for garlic that I've found since I moved over to the Rockies is it works very well keeping high blood pressure down. I use the oderless garlic capsules for this and do have to take as many as 9 some days, but they work for it. I am going into see my doc. when I get back to the Coast in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it's only the elevation somehow affecting my blood pressure. Otherwise I'm sure I'll have to go on a form of high blood pressure medication unfortunately.
