About 25 Latter-day Saints have contributed substantially to the MormonThink website. The purpose of this site is to generate discussion and to encourage people to think more objectively about issues involving the doctrine, practices and history of the LDS church. mormonthink.com/The LDS Church sometimes unfairly punishes those who publish true things about the history of the LDS Church that may be unflattering, yet completely and verifiably true. Many who contribute to MormonThink go to the LDS Church regularly and they don’t want to stop attending and providing service even if they don’t believe the church is the one, true church. As stated on MT, some contributing members have since decided that they can no longer remain a member of the church and have identified themselves and their names can be found on the site. The remaining members are mostly still active members of the LDS church. When the LDS church ceases to punish its members for telling the complete truth, more members may consider publishing their names.

That is a great website you found, Creator. Being raised Mormon, I am very happy that more of them are figuring so much of what I consider to be the truth out! Good for them.

Because I was raised Mormon/LDS, I was taught from birth on that in order for me to make it to the highest of heavens I would HAVE to be married to a man in one of the Mormon temples. Otherwise, being a woman, there was NO other way for me to reach that high of a heaven. Personally, if I were the creator of that religion, I would have made it the other way around. I have met far more compassionate, nurturing women than I have men in this lifetime, although that is only my own personal experience so it may not be the ultimate truth.
It took me 29 years to figure out just how much being taught this non-truth hurt me! It's NO wonder I put up with the horrendously emotionally/mentally abusive relationship I did for SO long! I was actually brainwashed into thinking that I NEED a man to get into heaven!
Now, looking at this L.D.S. teaching, one could say there is a grain of truth in it. In some other of the world's many religions, one must join with their twin flame/soul mate in order to "enter into the highest of all heavens" someday. I just find it completely despicable that any modern day Christian religion would teach anything to this day that so plainly states being a female is such a negative thing to be. In my opinion, as well as all of the Native American's belief systems, the Earth we all live upon is a female herself. I very much hope that it truly is the "time of the great woman" like the Hopi Native American's have been saying it is or is about to be. We sure do need femininity to get a lot more respect these days, and we also need all of the warlike beings on Earth to take a page from all of the Mother's and Grandmother's books. Harmony is the wave of the future in my opinion.
