I just got to buy my ticket to the country in Montana, where quite a few of my family members live, yay!!! This will b e the lon gest vacation/holiday I have ever had in my entire life, and I have been a mother/grandmother for almost 30 years now, so it is going to be a huge change of pace for me. I have no idea what I am going to do with my time once I am not taking care of others all day and all night, but I am hoping to read some books that I have wanted to read for years. I was really hoping to be able to stay there for about 6 weeks, but I have to make it back to my hometown in order to go to an important doctor's appointment. Too bad! So I am only going to be able to stay there for 3 weeks, but 3 weeks is far better than no weeks. I truly need to get away to a far more peaceful place asap in order to see how much of my illness is stress related, etc. So I am basically going to feel things out, and if I feel way better there, I will probably find a way to move there, as my health is very important to me, and I really need to pay attention to trying to heal as much as I possibly can before things take a turn for the worse. I am very happy about being able to go to the country for so long, and am really, really hoping to be lucky enough to meet up with a medicine man or woman on one of Montana's many Native American reservations. Wish me luck in my adventure/retreat! ;D

Tomorrow is the big day. I haven't been away from my kids or grandkids for this long since I became a Mother at the age of 15, so I really am going to have to force myself to find things to do to occupy my time as I am so very used to taking care of others constantly. It has been 30 years straight for me of taking care of a family every day, except for one 8 day break about 14 years ago! Crazy!

Hi Creator! They have a laptop here so I signed on today to see what is up. It is really beautiful over here as there is a lot more wilderness left in Montana than where I live. In fact, some people that my relatives know have been having bears and bobcats go through their yards a bit outside of town! Now that's the country, man! I really haven't done much here yet except for quit smoking and visit all of the nearby relatives. I am having a bit of a hard time with the withdrawels, but not nearly as hard of a time as I would have had if I had chosen to quit smoking at home where the stress level is always a 9 or 10 lately. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be helping my chest pain yet, but I figure it has to take awhile before my lungs heal up enough for me to tell that it is helping. At least it had better help! I love you forever too, and may be able to download chat here, but if not, I will be back in about 3 weeks. Hugs!

I got SO very lucky as my Aunt has connections with a Blackfoot man who does sweat lodges, yay! She has been wanting to go to a sweat for a long time now, so we are both going to a nearby town tomorrow afternoon to attend a sweat lodge ritual. I haven't been to one of these rituals since I was about 27 years old! I am truly hoping that it will do me some good. I am REALLY hoping that this Blackfoot Native American man will be able to hook me up with a Blackfoot Medicine Man or Woman. THAT would be an answer to a prayer that I have been saying for the longest time. One can always hope! Plus, there is a chance that I may be able to get into see a Sen Sei of Jiu Jitzu here for a healing as well! My Cousin went to him for a healing before, and it took quite some time, but he said it was WELL worth it, so I am definitely going to give it a try if he will fit me into his schedule. Wish me luck with that one!
