From what I have read so far, it seems like a fairly informative site. I am far from a magick expert however.

Well this looks like a series of dictionary items... What is does not give is the basics in a coherent manner. there is a need to separate the practice from the armchair.
However for some the practice will lead to insanity and loss.

However Magic will completely F**K you up if you have not sorted your life out. That is the real basics.

Especially when one is using magick to call in spirits! In my opinion, that can be a VERY dangerous thing to do when one is not ready for it.

Ahh well the problem is that there is (IMHO) no form of magic that does not use spirits . Whether or not they are called in out or sideways the actual vehicle for change is still a spirit. There lies the rub.
The old Hebrew QBL indicated that only stable men ( i.e middle aged householders of good standing could study and presumably work QBListic magic.
There may be some sexism there but the problem was further compunded by the fact that women were chattel at the time. I am not defending this but I am advocating inner stability and the will to fix what is wrong with your life without recourse to magic.
Of course it can be said that I am a spoilsport but I am happy with that.
Lol
