I personally believe that we are all wrong, and that our ultimate being is not within any sort of archaic spirituality, but within ourselves. Letting go of such petty ideals and dismissing the old ways is our only opening to true "Innovation"
What do you people think? I assume since this is a board of open minded individuals, I should get some solid debate right?

When you say that you believe that we are all wrong, I would have to disagree with you on that as I believe that we are all learning different lessons through different levels of "enlightenment" on this Earth, as the beings here are so varied in their levels of integration. Also, as we are all actually related, or as some may believe, different molecules of the same being so to speak, it would seem logical to me that no two of us will ever be able to have the exact same perspective on anything at all, as we are all meant to bring back many varying perspectives and experiences to the Creator, (whether that be one or many), so the Creator will have a multifaceted view on every experience every single one of us has here. I do absolutely agree that what we are all searching for is "within" ourselves. But once again, it would depend on one's view of what "within" actually is. The way I see my connection with the divine is like those Russian ceramic dolls. There is a large one, a smaller one, and on and on until the very last tiny ceramic doll is found on the very inside of the "stack" of dolls. I believe that my body in this life is the tiniest doll within the other, larger ceramic dolls. But if I extend my consciousness, I then can travel up and down the ladder of the consciousnesses that I am all at once, whether I fully realize this constantly or not. It has taken me many years of practice and searching for Higher Truth to get to the point where I am beginning to realize this, but every year it gets clearer and clearer for me to more fully understand. Does this make any sense? I am also wondering what you mean more specifically by petty ideals? Are you speaking of spiritual ideals or physical ideals? Although many would say that both were the same thing, I am not to that point quite yet, unfortunately.
