Has anyone tried this? Supposedly the CIA gave up on it in '79 due to inconclusive evidence that it's plausible but some say it just moved underground and is still in use. Test subjects were able to identify targets and information about the enemy and anyone psychic or not can be trained to do it as we all have some sort of intuition.

Yes, Thorquest, I have tried this many, many times and from what I can tell, I am fairly gifted in the remote viewing department. Of course, I should do more experiments than I have with the other person being aware of what I am trying, in order to get more accurate information about how accurate I really am. But the few times that I have done it and my friends have known that I was going to, the experiment went quite well, so that is pretty cool. I met an ex-navy seal who was also trained in remote viewing when I was in my 20's. Every time he would look at me using that method, I would actually know he was doing it! It creeped me out back then, because I hadn't yet learned to remote view myself. But after practising for awhile, I got better and better at it, from the data that I have collected so far. I experiment with my psychic abilities all the time and try to stay unattached emotionally to the outcome, just to get to know what my brain is capable of. I have found that I am absolute crap at reading aura's for instant, LOL! Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

I just joined twitter, hoping to find out if it is too late for me to join in the experiment. I ended up having to email the scientist conducting it, and will see if I get a response in time or not. Hopefully I will be able to participate! That would be a lot of fun! Thanks so much for posting this, Thorquest! My twitter name is ZDebralah1, if you know how to add me as a friend. ;D

To participate in the experiment, just add Richard Wiseman to your list of people you're following.

I wrote the Richard Wiseman, and he did write me back and told me it wasn't too late to participate in the experiment. BUT, unfortunately, I am unable to wake up early enough in the morning to do it, as I am so busy visiting with all of my relatives while we all say goodbye to my Grandma, that I can never get in bed before midnight, darn it! Oh well, maybe I will be able to join in with his next experiment.
