I was wondering if we had any other tarot readers on the board, and what your favorite decks were? I read the Native American Indian Tarot the best, because I have been using it for so long. I love it. I am going to get another deck soon, and would like some opinions about other decks.

I love Tarot decks! I collect them for the artwork.
I have 3 that I actually use, depending on the need: Crowley's Thoth deck, Robin Wood and Rider-Waite.

Yes, I have thought about getting the Rider-Waite as my second deck, but I am still undecided. I am leaning toward getting some sort of Arthurian deck, because I am really drawn to that period. How long have you been doing readings? I have been reading for almost 15 years now. ;D

I've probably been reading about as many years as you have, Debbie. I started back in college.
I've found the Rider Waite is good for tarot meditations. It's images are very basic and archetypal. Crowley's deck is good for that too - there are so many layers of meaning there. I also like use Al's deck for divination regarding magick and spirituality. The Robin Wood deck is much gentler feeling. It's basically Rider-Waite with better artwork and a slightly Celtic feel. I've found it to be good for readings about interpersonal relationships and the like. I'd say Crowley is my default deck.
I don't have any of the Arthurian ones, though the artwork on some of them is quite lovely.

What is the Tarot? The Tarot is a card game, which comes to us from Medieval times, where it was used as an oracle. In these cards secret societies studied the basic structure of the mystic initiation process. The cards speak in pictures, and pictures are the language of the subconscious. The key to the deepest meaning of the cards lies hidden in the archetypal myths that humankind has told since the beginning of time. The Tarot can be seen as a book of Wisdom composed of 78 pages, that has been used as an oracle since the 15th Century. The Tarot actually forms the basis of our normal playing cards. Yet it is more than a pack of cards, far more than a game, and more than a method of divination. It's original use was probably as a set of magical images, designed for meditation and an aid to visualization, it was a tool for self realization, enlightenment, and magic.
