Spirit Guides

I have been lucky enough to be able to see and communicate with my spirit guides for the past 20 years or so. In my opinion, we all have at least one spirit guide and one Guardian Angel that walk with us and watch over us. In order for our Angels and our spirit guides to help us, we must ask. Just like a good natured person wouldn't under normal circumstances, butt into our lives to change things around, so are are angels and guides not going to just butt in and change our lives around. One of the secrets of working with your guides and angels, is that you have to ask for their help. If you want something to change in your life, you have that spiritual force to ask for help. And it does help. Most people just don't know that they have an angel or a spirit guide, or in some cases far more than one. And most people don't know that because we have free will to do whatever we feel like doing, even if it is something that will bring us bad karma, that we must ask our guardian angels and spirit guides for help. In order to benefit the most from the invisible help that we all have access to, you simply have to ask. You can ask aloud, or you can ask in your mind. Try it, it doesn't cost anything. When you have a goal that you want to accomplish, and you feel you could use some divine help, just ask. You may be surprised at how well it works! ;D

For today, here are a few of the subtle ways angels and
spirits will let you know they are around:

- Items you find along your path: feathers, pennies, other
coins and unusual objects.

- Twinkly lights you see out of the corner of your eye,
usually white, silvery or gold.

- Animals interacting with you in unexpected ways and/or
behaving in an unusual manner. (This can be a real animal
showing up on your doorstep or crossing your path, or a
dream or other reference to animals that seems to be
calling for your attention). Last year, I had a blue
jay, a cardinal, a monarch butterfly (the first I'd seen
of the season) and a bunny all appear in my backyard at
once during a healing meditation. The blue jay stayed
around for a long time even though they are very nervous
birds and my large dog was bounding around the yard as
well.

- Songs with special meanings or references coming on the
radio, usually just when you need to hear words of
comfort or upliftment.

- Scents: angels usually bring the scent of rose or
lavender. Spirits can bring any scent they are/were
associated with, such as cooking aromas, perfumes,
tobacco, etc.

- Coincidences, especially those such as messages in the
media (TV, radio, magazines, etc.), timely messages in
your email, bumper stickers, signs in a store window,
or overhearing a snippet of a conversation that is
meaningful to you.

- An invisible touch, such as a feeling that someone is
touching you gently on your arm or face, or tickling your
hair. You may even feel a cool breeze on your face when
there is no window or door open. This is most likely an
angel or loving spirit letting you know he or she is with
you and he cares.

- A flutter in your tummy, or any other physical sign you
come to recognize as coming from spirit. For me, I know
my angels and spirit guides are around when I get a
pressure in my eardrum. It usually happens when I am
mulling over something of a spiritual or metaphysical
nature, and I am always grateful for the 'help' from
beyond the veil.

Signs and messages from the angelic realm will occur more
often when you pay attention, acknowledge them, and thank
the spirits and angels for their work and their presence.

I have had many of these things happen to me to let me know that my spirit guides or guardian angels are around, so I just had to put this on the board so that other's may know what to look for concerning spiritual activity.

Meeting the Indian Shaman

Here is one of the pieces to my life's puzzle. When I was six years old, I lived on an old ranch, called "Monte Vista Ranch." The place is now called “Rancho
San Diego”. Today, the ranch is now shopping centers and condos. My grandparents managed rentals for Mr. Daley, who owned the ranch.

One day I was walking home from the school bus on a dirt road. When I got to the fork in the road, in the middle was a large unmanicured date tree. As I approached, I saw a large white bird flying down and landing under it. When I saw the bird it looked very large and scary, but I was fascinated with it.

It flew underneath the bottom of the tree. The bird was a three foot white owl with bright yellow fire in its eyes. The owl started to communicate with me telepathically. I saw a vision of an old Indian in my minds eye. The owl was really an Indian Shaman, using magick to travel.

The owl told me that he wanted to see me before he left for the next life. I said, "You’re seeing me now." The owl said, "No, I am really far away." I said, "So you sent this owl to come and get me." The owl said, "yes."

This is the only other living person besides Jimmy that has used telepathy with me. We talked a bit, he told me he live in the old trailer park I had seen a day ago and that I should go there.

As I walked down the road the owl flew very majestically away, it was so large it was quite a sight to see.

I could feel a strong spirit following me home, I looked around it was a large white mist. As I walked down the road, the spirit talked to me. The spirit said, "You are a special person, and have much work ahead of you." I said, "I must be going crazy, you know this is kind of weird for a little kid. I was nea5rly in tears because it was so strange. I said, "My stomach kind of hurts." The white mist said, "Then walk a head of me and you won't have to look. But, can't you see that you are special, nobody else you know can communicate at a higher plane. I said, "It is a lot to handle."

The mist had me seat down and rest, to recover from the shock. I sat for about ten minutes. The white mist said, "You have a special destiny." I said, "I think I am going crazy. But yes I see you there and I hear your thoughts in my mind." The white mist said "There will be a man like you and he would teach you many things, that will be important to your destiny." He showed me a vision of Jimmy Page as an older man, I did not know until later in life, it was he. This was in 1962 before he was around in the USA. Today I think this is very strange and I don't understand it, it bothers me.

The spirit stayed outside, when I got home. Grandma did not believe the story. My brother and I went outside.

I told my brother we were going to find this Indian, and asked him if he remember this old trailer park we saw from far away, from a few days back. My brother remembered. So my brother and I, with my grandparent's old dog ‘Saccal’ and walked down the dirt road.

We walked about half an hour. The spirit leads us right to a trailer where the Shaman lived. I saw that he was an old skinny man and he had dirty gray hair to his shoulders. He did not look well. He said, "You are just a child, younger than I thought." I said, "I told you I was just a kid." He said, "I wanted to see what you looked like before I go into the next life because you will do great things, when you get older." I said, "No, I am just a kid." The Shaman said, "Yes you are young now, but you will do great things when you are a lot older." I said, "Ok." Then he told us to go and we left. I ponder on what he said. It seamed like a lot of work.

Two months later I heard my grandmother saying she heard from a friend that lived in the area near the old trailer park, telling my mom about an old Indian that had died in the trailer way over yonder. I knew who it was, and felt sad for him.

This story is very true, I was just a littel kid and could not of thought of something like that. I found a photo when I was five, so I was just a year older than that when this experience happen to me. I kept it to my self until last november, when I meet debbie. I have been re-awakened!

Yes, I think that each of us has our own periods in our lives when we reawaken. When we come to realise a new perspective on our realities. I just wish more peaple would realize that you don't have to think "in the box". The box is much bigger than most people think, and may not be a box afterall.
