This is a thread for putting down some of your deeper thoughts of the day. They can be of any subject matter you choose. I'll start with a thought for the day: I wonder about love between a man and a woman, and how something that was once so close can grow so far apart. How does it happen? Who's fault is it? Is it just natural for people to start to ignore each other after they have been around each other for a long period of time? Is this the reality of life, and I just don't know it? I never thought that just because people were familiar with each other that they should quit adoring each other. I feel that we should adore each and every loved one in our life as fully as possible, especially one's spouse. The cherished love and life partner. It's almost a sacred bond between 2 people that shouldn't be taken for granted. But that's just my opinion.

I often wonder why people seem so obsessed with other people's lives. When it is so hard to keep track of one's own life. Shouldn't we all just be trying to work on ourselves so much that we don't have much time to be judging other people all of the time? None of us are perfect. But I believe those of us that are wisest are going to be working on perfecting ourselves more than paying attention to how other's are living their lives.

Hmm
Isn't it simply because 95% of humanity consists of killer apes???
I mean we are totally obsessed with our position in the pecking order hence we have to look at what everyone else is doing. Our society is not that much different from animal societies.
The obsession with pecking order(s) breeds insecurity that further breeds more nosiness and viola a positive feedback loop develops.
If we don't buy into the mass media obsessions and turn off the one-eyed god in the living room amore often we would see how our life changes.
Just my rant for the day;-)

But it is such a waste of time, don't you think Pablo? I take a lot more time disecting my own thoughts and actions that I do anyone elses, and truly don't comprehend why I don't find too many other's like myself.

I wonder if the reason people try to control other's is because they haven't learned to control themselves? I think quite often that is the case.
