Hi, I was wondering what the general consensus is on tree-hugging?? I have numerous mature trees in my garden, and a young Oak and Chestnut (19yrs old) in my Spring Garden, and I was wondering how I might go about connecting with them???

I would sit and meditate with my back resting against them, or at least near them, so that my energy was overlapping theirs if I were you. I would just know that my aura and the trees aura were joining, and feel whatever feelings that come. I feel trees have their own life force/intelligence that is very calming and peaceful. I have joined with their energy before, and have felt very grounded and calm because of it.

thanks Debbie, I will try that, though I have never meditated so next time I am out gardening I will take some quiet time with the trees (and hope the neighbours don't see ) I am trying to improve the area where the younger trees are so I'm hoping they'll appreciate my efforts!!

I am sure that the young trees will appreciate your efforts, Fairlady. Meditation is sort of like just spending quiet time, although there are many different ways to get the body to be more quieted.
