Formed by wayward genius Arthur Lee, Love were, perhaps, the quintessential psychedelic L.A. band - both far out and a little creepy. Within two years they'd split up leaving Lee to carry on the band's name. In that time they'd made what many critics regard as one of the finest albums ever recorded: Forever Changes. Love was one of the few multicoloured bands at the time and they have been a great influence on many other musicians. Ever heard any of their material? I can recommend "Forever Changes" and "Da Capo" to start with... Then you'll be hooked. ;D Sadly, Arthur passed away on August 3:rd this year due to Leuchemia. But his music lives on. I love you Arthur, wherever you are right now.

Believe it or not, I haven't ever heard any of their material that I know of for sure. I am sure that I have having listened to an oldies station for many years now, but I can't put the music to the band so to speak. So I am going to have to see if I can find a CD one of these days and give it a listen.

Thanks, Creator! I will have my oldest son burn it for me, since I have been curious for quite some time now about Love's music. ;D
