Do you like a drink here and there, or do you rather not? If you do, what are your favourites?

I really don't drink that often. Every now and then we'll have a nice wine with dinner. And two or three times a year I decide I need to get totally wasted. In the former case, I like whisky. Neat. Though I have been known to enjoy a fruity girlie drink on social occassions.

Sometimes when I go out with my darling, we will have a few pints of beer. And sometimes share a bottle of wine or two at home. But I seldom drink. Perhaps once in two months. I keep some whiskey or vodka in the cupboard for medical use. I'll have some of that if I get a bad cold like right now. *sipping Glengoyne single malt whiskey* I come from an alcohol free home. None of my parents were big consumers and I am thankful for that.
I have only been really drunk once. I was 15 and got wasted on white wine (one bottle) and several glasses of vodka/coca cola. Needless to say I was very sick. And as a result, I have never since then touched white wine or drinks with coke in them.
Favourite drinks: Red wine, Guinness, Hoegaarden and drinks with grapefruit or lime in them.

I drank much more in college than I do now. (Though even then it was occassional at worst.) Tequila was the drink of choice in that circle. To this day the smell of it makes me nauseous!

Well, being 19 in the USA, I really should not be saying this, but I like to drink, too. Although I really don't like to get drunk.
I hate beer, though, with the exception of Sam Adams and Guinness. I'm really a fan of what many called "The Old Man's Drink." Namely, Single-Malt Scotch Whisky.
As far as American, I do like Jack Daniels, but only occasionally.I also like Johnnie Walker Blue, Green, and Gold Label.
Off that, I like Goldschlager, to. And I'm a fan of Kahlua, Bailey's Irish Cream, And I like Godiva Liquor.

I just think it's a pity that people can't do things in moderation.
The main reason that I don't get drunk is probably that I can't stand drunk people. Probably because I can't stand stupid people. Drunk people are always stupid and I don't have any patience with idiots. Cruel? Well that's the way I see things.

I don't like getting drunk because I like being in control. I like to be able to control, and account for, my actions. I like the buzz... you know... but I won't go beyond that.

I don't drink very often, mostly only when I go to one of Dean's gigs. I don't keep alcohol in the house, and never have. So it is a treat for when I am in a social mood. I like vodka when I do drink. Unless I am in the mood for beer or wine. I like the taste of ale better than regular beer, and I like the sweet wines much better than the dry ones too.

Unfortunately, I find myself in this situation a lot, because I'll often volunteer to be a "designated driver" even though it's pretty much a guarantee I'll be pissed off at at least one of my friends by the end of the evening. Drunks are so incredibly irritating. They become much more amusing when I'm drunk as well...

I like a drink as much as the next man. Unfortunately the next man is Keith Richards.
