one thing i don't like is when the "marked as edited" feature is used.
because i edit constantly, typos or terms or whatever.
the reason the feature is used is in case somebody alters a post significantly after there are many replies- leaving a first time reader wondering what happened. but... in my 7 years of message board addiction, i've never actually come across a case where it mattered, because it so rarely happens, and it's virtually never significant.
so.... i wish you'd turn that feature off. otherwise what will happen is every single one of my posts will always say, "marked as edited" lol

yeah, that would be fine with me also. I constantly edit my posts for spelling/wording errors that I catch a little too late, LOL! ;D

Unfortunately there is now way to change that particular setting. Perhaps it is possible with Invisionfree, Bulletin and other types of boards but Proboards don't seem to have any on/off option for the editing thing. I find it really annoying too.

sure you can change it-
Global Footer-
This removes the text which reads 'Last Edit:...' after you modify a post.
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- var i = document.getElementsByTagName('i'); for(t=0; t<i.length; t++) if(i[t].innerHTML == 'Last Edit:') i[t].parentNode.style.display = 'none'; //--> </script>

proboards have all the same functions as any other message board system. it's just not set up so easy like EZboard, or invisionfree. they expect you to plug in the scripts, rather than just checking a box. but it's still pretty easy. if you want help custom tooling your board, or changing any of the features, you'll find it all at the proboards support forum.
