Hi, I'm jimmyRRpage, also known as Nathaniel in a couple forums.
I am actually Jewish, but I'm incredibly fascinated with Pagan and Wiccan beliefs and teachings and such, and there are many times when these beliefs fall closer to mine than Judaism does. I an Jewish simply because I believe in God, and after falling out of Christianity, I found Judaism, which fit some of my beliefs, before I found Wicca and Paganism.
Mainly, I'm here to learn more, because I don't know a lot, and I want to know.
BTW, I love the background. I can never recall the title of the artwork, but it is an incredible piece.

Hi and welcome! Perhaps you could make a topic in the religion section about the different branches of Judaism? The painting in the background is called "Nymphs and Satyr" painted by Adolphe William Bouguereau in 1873.  |

Cool that you 2 are here. Hopefully as the board grows there will be more and more opinions on the Wiccan religion, as well as other Pagen religions. I am hoping to learn more myself, as well as share what I have learned with others. ;D

Hi all! I'm Thorn. I've been a practicing witch for nearly 20 years. Started with Wicca, studied some ritual magick and other stuff here and there. Now I just think of myself as a witch or generic pagan...
Just came by to say "hi" and see what was going on over here. I always love to talk about spirituality and the occult and learn everything I can.

Hi Thorn. I was going to pm you and ask you to check out the board hopefully to add some of your knowledge, and I hadn't gotten to it, and voila! You just came, LOL! Nice to see you here. I would love to learn more about the Wicca aspects of the Occult, so please share some of your experiences with us. I had no idea that you had been practising for so long, LOL. You have been practising about as long as I have been studying spirituality, so that's really cool to me. ;D

Neat! I saw the Creatrix's post over on PZ and decided to come have a look.
My best friend dated a "Satanist" (meaning guy who listens to a lot of Ozzy and likes to torture small animals - it was the 80's after all) back in high school and had a bad breakup. I picked up a book on Wicca to see if we could find some kind of protective spell for her. Got me started on the path. (I'd been looking at different religions for a while. The Pentacostal church my grandmother had me going to just was SO not working for me...)
I'll try to think of some topics to add...

Hello there!
I'm Elisabeth and I created this messageboard. I work as a biologist and live in Sweden. I will move to Rochester in England later this year though. Science is my God but I do believe in a spirit world and in magic. Traditional religion is not for me. ;D
