sea serpents and mermaids theory

sea serpents,mermaids and other magick creatures we have took as ficticius are really creatures that dont belong to our dimension but to others that would explain they sudden apparition and the fast they dissapear and also would explain why none has been found in the sea even if technology has evolved throught centuries.
Just a theory i heard somewhere.

They probably do exist in other dimensions, and people just see into the other dimensions occasionally, and think that they are seeing our dimension when they do. That is my theory anyway.
