That is pretty amazing that you can remember that dream from childhood! I have a few dreams that I can remember from childhood too. One of which my Mother, who died when I was 3, was in. She and I were playing in a park together. The entire dream was about us playing in this big park. I was little again, even though in actuality I was 11 or so when I had the dream. It was a very pleasant dream to have because even at 11 I really missed my Mom.

I need help with a dream I had last night. I was at my old home from childhood and we (my family and a few friends) were in the back yard. I was standing near the house and I heard a noise and when I looked up I saw what looked like stones tumbling down the roof. I jumped out of the way and I pointed up to everyone but nobody seemed to notice (or care for that matter). All I kept thinking was why don't they see or hear that. The rocks stopped and we all continued but I was very aggitated as I felt like something was going to happen and I kept trying to get people to leave I got several people to come into the house to follow me. As we were in the kitchen a few minutes later the ground started to come up within the house and yard. I heard screaming and when I looked out the window I could see what looked like to me asphalt. Huge chunks of roadway pieces were flying down from the roof. The house was busting apart. I started pushing the few people with me out towards the front of the house. We stood out in front and people were screaming and yelling. I just kept looking at the house and crying. The asphalt was flying everywhere (asphalt roadway pieces on a roof -doesn't make sense to me). I was sad and then I realized my mom was out in the backyard - I tried to run back into the house to get to the yard to save her but when I got to the middle of the house it started to split and a wall blocked my path. I ran back to the street and stared as the house began to crumble - I cried for all the people that were lost behind the house. Then I got scared because the ground started to split and when I looked I was alone the others had ran off - I could see them faintly off in a distance. I somehow didn't want to be there anymore and my dream shifted to another home but not one I know of. There were train tracks behind the house. It appeared like a run down area I remember heading towards this one home a 2 family and the front porch was big. Sitting on the stairs was a man (whom I do not know) but when I saw him I felt comforted. I went up the stairs and sat down beside him. He cradled me in his arms and rubbed my side. I asked him after moments of silence and tenderness who he was and he said Joseph. He smiled then said don't you remember me? I seriously didn't - though I felt I should since he took some liberties that I would never allow a stranger to do. I stared and wracked my brain and he said, it will come to you eventually. He then invited me in as people were now out on the streets staring at us. That is where the dream ends - if there was more I don't remember.
I am perplexed by the asphalt pouring off the roof - what does that mean and why did nobody else see it or hear it until it was too late? I was scared silly in the dream when the road started to split enough for me to skidaddle into another scene. When I woke my 1st waking impression of Joseph was that of a guide but he was a bit too friendly in the dream.
I am confused... I usually can make sense of my dreams to some extent but this one is baffling to me. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It seems that you are fearing that your life is going to change drastically. At least that is what houses mean in my dreams. Houses always represent me or my life in my dreams, and I always dream about houses. And maybe your life is about to change drastically too, and you are sensing it beforehand. I would do a reading on that if I were you to see what is coming for you in the near future, just to be sure. I really feel as if you are right about Joseph, and he is a spirit guide of yours. It is wonderful that he appeared in your dream to comfort you. I have had experiences like that before, and those dreams always stand out the most in my mind. Hopefully you will be able to contact him while you are awake as well.

I haven't had any dreams that are worth writing about lately unfortunately. Hopefully I'll start dreaming more again soon. The past few years since my brain surgery I haven't had many dreams that I wake up remembering much of. I'd really like to someday start having dreams I remember a lot of like I had before soon if possible. Hopefully this thread will be revived now that I've posted in it and more people will feel inclined to write about some of their dreams. Much Love and Light to all!
