Had a bad one last night, my daughter ran away for a night. I just found out that she's going to have to take a summer math class in order to advance to eight grade so we've been stressing. My oldest daughter ran away a few times when she was a teenager so I've got some bad memories about that. At the end of the dream she came back though and gave some lame excuse about checking out new guitar strings at a friends house. I'm going to need to give her a lot more of my attention. Next school year I'm going to request a transfer to day shift so I'll be home at nights to help her with homework.

That sounds like a really good idea, Thorquest. I also try to listen to any warning I feel I get in my dreams. I haven't been able to remember any of my dreams lately, as they seem really confusing and jumbled up right before I awake every morning.

Last night we were at the laundromat starting clothes and I decided to go to the open mic at Harbor Club instead. As usual I was hurrying through the process of setting up cables and guitar amps knowing the wife would be calling soon to come back and finish laundry. I couldn't move my arms and hands fast enough to get the cables unraveled and didn't get to perform. It's like they were stuck. In part two of what was probably a different dream there was some kind of ecological disaster. A river turned to mud and birds were all flying around crazy like they do before an earthquake. Some punk kid was standing way too close to my oldest daughter Michelle trying to hit on her while we were looking at dying fish and other creatures in the mud. I'll attribute this all up to random nonsense and anger I've been feeling lately. In addition I overslept today which is a recipe for too much dreaming.
